Medical Manager

Job Overview

This role is designed for a Medical Manager at Novartis Pharma Schweiz based in Saudi Arabia, responsible for responding to medical inquiries accurately and compliantly while supporting various clinical and research initiatives within the therapeutic area of neuroscience.

Key Duties

• Address medical questions with precision, adhering to compliance standards and timeliness, while creating standard response documents when required.
• Contribute medical and scientific expertise to clinical trial execution and oversight activities in the designated therapy domain.
• Assist in local evidence generation, including through non-interventional studies and investigator-initiated trials.
• Establish and maintain scientific collaborations with key medical professionals throughout the disease continuum, support publication efforts, and engage in data generation activities.
• Review and authorize medical and promotional content to ensure conformity with both local and global compliance regulations.
• Communicate medical insights effectively to cross-functional teams such as Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Market Access, Quality, and Commercial departments.
• Distribute work time equally between external stakeholder interactions and office-based responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of an MD, PharmD, or PhD degree.
• At least two years’ experience within Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical sector, with neuroscience experience considered advantageous.
• Demonstrated capability to foster trustworthy relationships with medical experts and critical decision makers.
• Deep understanding of clinical research methodologies, evidence generation, and the changing landscape of therapeutics.
• Skilled in applying scientific insights constructively across functions.
• Proficient in utilizing digital platforms and data tools to enhance stakeholder engagement, insight collection, and informed decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, adept at presentations and teamwork within matrix organizations.
• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
