Mechanical Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical maintenance operations within a nuclear power plant setting. The individual will ensure maintenance work complies with stringent nuclear safety regulations, facilitating reliable and safe plant functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical maintenance activities for various plant systems and machinery.
• Ensure maintenance work adheres strictly to Conduct of Maintenance (CoM) standards.
• Provide expert technical troubleshooting and guidance during maintenance operations.
• Supervise contractor-led maintenance tasks to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Assist in detailed planning and execution during plant outages.
• Participate actively in audits and assessments conducted by organizations such as FANR, WANO, INPO, and IAEA.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing to the development of maintenance procedures and programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in the power generation or nuclear industry.
• Minimum of 5 years specifically focused on mechanical equipment maintenance, excluding commissioning roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of maintenance operations for power plants.
• Proficient with project management tools such as MS Project and Primavera.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively under high-pressure conditions.

Additional Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of nuclear safety protocols and compliance with international nuclear standards.
• Hands-on experience with outage planning and maintenance scheduling.
• Excellent leadership capabilities accompanied by strong communication and coordination skills.
