Mechanical Draftsman

Role Overview

We are inviting applications for the position of Mechanical Draftsman at our Vizag branch. The selected individual will be engaged in producing intricate general arrangement, fabrication, and assembly drawings primarily for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and process piping systems within the Oil & Gas energy sector. These responsibilities require proficient use of AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software and strict adherence to international codes and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in creating comprehensive mechanical and engineering drawings pertinent to industrial machinery and systems.
• Expertise in technical drawing principles, including precise dimensioning, tolerance specifications, and conforming to global drafting norms.
• Experienced in CAD platforms widely utilized for mechanical drafting and design projects.
• Holds a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related technical disciplines.
• Previous work experience within industrial fabrication or the oil and gas sector is beneficial.
• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to accurately interpret engineering documentation.
• Strong organizational talents and effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including engineers and fabrication personnel.
