Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in designing process equipment and pressure vessels. The role involves generating accurate sheet metal fabrication drawings, detailed bills of materials, and cost estimations for process tanks.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs for process equipment and pressure vessels ensuring industry standards.
- Create precise sheet metal fabrication drawings and comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs) to facilitate the manufacturing process.
- Perform cost estimations for process tanks, balancing design with budget considerations.
- Collaborate actively with manufacturing teams to guarantee seamless progress from design stages through to fabrication and delivery.
Skills and Expertise
- Strong proficiency in process equipment and pressure vessel design principles.
- Experience in preparing sheet metal fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with cost calculation and estimation methods for process tanks.
- Effective coordination abilities to manage communication between design and manufacturing teams.
