Mechanic Technician

Role Summary

We are looking for a proficient and driven Mechanic Technician experienced in the repair and upkeep of Self-Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) equipment. This position involves inspecting, diagnosing, fixing, and maintaining mechanical machinery to guarantee safe and efficient functionality. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical expertise, practical hands-on experience, and the capability to collaborate well within a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical equipment.
• Handle maintenance and troubleshooting of cranes (Demag, Liebherr, Sany, Kobelco) and SPMT trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and identify fault causes.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components as needed.
• Perform inspections and testing to verify equipment performance and reliability.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company quality standards at all times.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance tasks and reports.
• Work closely with operational teams to reduce equipment downtime.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Possession of a Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Prior experience working as a Mechanic Technician or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, relevant tools, and machinery.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical manuals and engineering drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Dedication to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
