Role Overview

We are seeking a proficient Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Technical Consultant to join our team. This position offers a great opportunity to broaden your expertise, achieve job satisfaction, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with clients or Maximo Functional Leads to address and resolve technical Maximo challenges.
• Develop and implement solutions to overcome Maximo technical issues.
• Innovate strategies that minimize operational tasks and increase efficiency.
• Apply creative problem-solving techniques to deliver comprehensive and straightforward user solutions.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables independently.
• Ensure all software processes and procedures are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedure documents to establish best practices, standards, and quality delivery methodologies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with Maximo Application Suite implementations and upgrades.
• Hands-on knowledge integrating Maximo with other systems.
• Participation in a minimum of two Asset Management project SDLCs, plus at least one project involving Maximo Application Suite or Maximo Mobile.
• Experience in maintenance and support for Maximo projects.
• Development expertise in IBM Maximo Mobile.
• Proficient in IBM Maximo Asset Management technical aspects, including installation, upgrade, patch management, automation scripting, and customization.
• Strong capability configuring IBM Maximo.
• Solid understanding of SQL scripting across databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
• Development of Maximo BIRT reports; familiarity with Cognos reporting is advantageous.
• Good grasp of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), especially integrating with external systems via Web Services, File Table Interface, User Exit & Processing Classes, and data loading.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Committed to providing and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Self-driven and motivated to enhance knowledge and skills through independent learning.
• Optional: Maximo certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Desirable Skills

• Proficiency with Application Designer for modifying application screens.
• Experience with Workflow Designer for creating and amending workflows.
• Familiarity with Start Centers, including the creation of KPIs and Portlets.
