Role Overview
This full-time position is based in Jamaica and requires frequent field engagement. As Marketing Manager, you will lead the local marketing team, consisting of a Trade Marketing Supervisor, Trade Developers across parishes, On-Premise Brand Specialists, and a Marketing Executive. You will set strategic direction, maintain our partnership with the national distributor Wisynco, and be responsible for the portfolio's commercial results throughout the Jamaican market.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data by region to guide team efforts effectively.
- Approve trade deal structures and activation plans to boost brand presence.
- Conduct regular visits to trade accounts to monitor product visibility and representation.
- Ensure growth of all products across multiple channels including bar, wholesale, hotel, and duty-free.
- Act as the brand’s spokesperson in media engagements, including press, radio, television, and social media content.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least five years of marketing or commercial experience within FMCG, beverage, or related sectors.
- Proven capability in managing field-based teams accountable for commercial outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of Jamaica’s trade landscape across various channels such as bar, wholesale, hotel, and duty free.
- Proficiency in analyzing distributor sales data to formulate actionable team strategies.
- Experience working with third-party distributor models is highly valued.
- Knowledge of spirits, rum, or premium beverage categories is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and enforce accountability.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
