Manager/Senior Manager, Contracts

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manager/Senior Manager in Contracts to join the Infrastructure and Facility Services Division. This role involves supporting contract and procurement activities essential to the development of school campuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes for consultancy and construction services while formulating departmental guidelines related to these activities.
• Evaluate project costs to confirm budget and construction expenditures provide good value for the school development initiatives.
• Design and apply efficient processes to ensure sound contract administration within the department.
• Oversee contract management tasks such as assessing variation costs, validating on-site works, reviewing progress claims, and closing accounts.
• Collaborate with schools, project teams, industry stakeholders, and others to promote clear communication and ensure understanding of contract and procurement policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in quantity surveying or a related field.
• Strong familiarity with procurement and quantity surveying principles in the building and construction sector.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, interpersonal skills, and project management capabilities.
