Manager - Embedded Hardware Design

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our team in Navi Mumbai. This role involves designing, developing, and testing electronic components, devices, and systems supporting a broad range of applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electronic hardware solutions that adhere to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and create electronic circuits and systems that fulfill product requirements and technical specifications.
• Execute schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype development for hardware projects.
• Conduct extensive testing, validation, and troubleshooting to guarantee hardware performance and reliability.
• Work closely with software and mechanical engineering teams to seamlessly integrate hardware components into the final products.
• Assess and select appropriate electronic components and materials for product designs.
• Ensure that all hardware designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or related fields.
• Demonstrated expertise in electronic hardware design, development, and testing.
• Proficiency in using schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Cadence and PCB viewer.
• Strong grasp of analog and digital circuit design fundamentals.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, various sensors, power electronics including Power Supplies or SMPS, and wireless communication technologies.
• Experience applying design for manufacturability and design for testability methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in embedded systems hardware design with 3-4 years focus in high-speed or mixed signal designs.
• Knowledge of EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) and signal integrity principles in hardware design.
• Experience using simulation and modeling software for electronic circuits such as SPICE and Simulink.
