Management Consulting Analyst/Senior Analyst

About the Role

Join PwC New Zealand's Management Consulting team in Wellington, where you will collaborate across public and private sectors to tackle complex challenges and implement lasting change. The team focuses on enhancing operational performance, transforming business models, and empowering people through large-scale change initiatives, operating model redesign, workforce strategy, and organisational change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely within project teams and with clients to produce high-quality deliverables and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Design and implement solutions aligned with clients' strategic and operational objectives.
• Navigate ambiguity using critical thinking to resolve challenging business problems.
• Manage specific project workstreams or delivery components with mentorship from senior colleagues.
• Analyze data to generate insights and develop actionable recommendations.
• Support and strengthen relationships with clients and PwC colleagues to foster trust and collaboration.

Skills and Experience

• Between 2 and 5 years of experience within public sectors, corporate environments, or professional services.
• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Commerce, Business, Law, Organisational Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in client-facing roles within professional contexts.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex matters and recommendations clearly within teams.
• Demonstrated self-leadership with eagerness to develop skills and upskill continuously.
• Confidence in using technology, including awareness and appropriate application of AI tools.
• A strong commercial mindset with enthusiasm for addressing multifaceted organisational challenges.
• Consulting or professional services experience is a plus but not mandatory.
