Maintenance Worker

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the facility's physical structures ensuring operations remain safe and secure.
• Inspect, diagnose, and carry out repairs on machinery and equipment as needed.
• Install and repair electrical components, including wiring and electronic equipment within machinery.
• Conduct preventative maintenance following established schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
• Supervise and monitor inmates or residents assigned to the Maintenance Department effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma, GED certification, or an equivalent credential is mandatory.
• At least two years of experience in general maintenance or construction work is required.
• Technical or trade school coursework related to maintenance or construction may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Preferred knowledge includes expertise in building construction and operation of building systems.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary for this position.
• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.

Compensation

This role offers an hourly wage of $24.98.
