About the Role
We are seeking a Mainframe Production Support Engineer with solid proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 to join our team. This position requires a deep understanding of mainframe support functions and experience working with banking projects is preferred. The role is available in multiple locations including Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Indore, and Kolkata.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support and maintenance for COBOL, JCL, and DB2 systems.
- Effectively manage and resolve incident requests including high priority P1 & P2 issues.
- Support mainframe projects with a primary focus on banking sector operations.
- Simultaneously handle multiple tasks involving service requests and incident ticket resolution.
- Adapt to flexible shift timings as per project needs.
- Maintain clear and effective communication through both written and verbal forms.
Skills and Expertise Required
- Strong practical knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and DB2 technologies.
- Experience with VSAM is essential.
- Familiarity with CICS and MQ is beneficial.
