Role Overview

This position involves conducting preventive maintenance on solar power plants, resolving billing issues, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The role requires assisting in online monitoring of plants and customer registrations while strictly following standard operating procedures and safety regulations.

Technical Responsibilities

• Execute signal and power wiring tasks for custom test rigs, automation equipment, and laboratory devices with precision.
• Organize and route cables professionally, prioritizing safety, ease of access, serviceability, bending constraints, and visual neatness.
• Distinguish and properly segregate power, signal, communication, and control wiring systems.
• Perform precise soldering, crimping, termination, connector assembly, and cable preparation operations.
• Interpret basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and connection plans effectively.
• Detect and resolve wiring faults, including loose connections and improper terminations.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and rework during rig development and commissioning phases.
• Label wires and cables accurately to facilitate straightforward future maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship utilizing cable ties, sleeves, conduits, ferrules, heat-shrink tubes, glands, and related accessories.
• Provide support for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of existing electrical test rigs on a scheduled basis.
• Ensure adherence to electrical safety practices and maintain a clean, organized workplace.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to aid development and refinement of specialized rigs and test setups.
