Job Overview
Seeking a Machine Operator to efficiently manage coffee roasting machinery in line with production targets while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise coffee roasting equipment according to scheduled production plans.
- Implement specified roasting profiles to ensure consistent roast quality.
- Continuously monitor roasting factors including temperature, duration, and airflow parameters.
- Load green coffee beans into machines and safely discharge roasted beans manually or via silo systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and promptly report any irregularities.
- Maintain cleanliness of roasting machines, destoners, cooling trays, and the surrounding workspace.
- Accurately log production metrics, batch information, and machine settings.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to assess roast quality and maintain product uniformity.
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety protocols, and hygiene requirements.
- Follow established safety guidelines during machine operation to prevent accidents.
- Support preventive maintenance tasks to reduce equipment downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
