About the Company and Location
Join a leading independent Irish manufacturer specializing in concrete and bituminous construction materials, based at the Paving Production Plant in Piercetown, Dunboyne, County Meath.
Work Schedule
This role involves shift work with a rotating schedule. Currently, shifts are split into 4-day rotations from 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am. Soon, this will transition to a 3-week rotation with 5-day shifts running from 6 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm, and 10 pm to 6 am.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Exemplify commitment to Health & Safety by following all company protocols, reporting hazards/incidents, and practicing safe working habits at all times.
- Maintain adherence to quality control standards ensuring production outputs meet required specifications.
- Operate automated production machinery and oversee various parts of the manufacturing process.
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping to maintain plant standards.
- Use forklifts and grab trucks safely; training will be provided where required.
- Ensure correct product labelling and organize stock bays.
- Load customer orders onto picking areas or trucks efficiently.
- Potentially provide backup support for operating loading shovels.
- Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned by management as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with production and automated equipment is preferred.
- Qualifications related to mobile plant operations are advantageous.
