Role Overview

The Microsoft 365 Architect holds a central role overseeing governance and delivery of Intelligent Workspace solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The focus is on achieving business outcomes using agile methodologies while offering clients strategic guidance, operational support, and proactive engagement.

This role involves partnering with clients to drive digital transformation through cloud-first productivity and collaboration tools, providing standards and solutions for Microsoft 365 services and acting as a subject matter expert and escalation contact for technology operations teams.

The position emphasizes consulting and delivery across Microsoft 365 workloads including data management, communications, collaboration, security, identity, and access management.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions for enterprise clients
• Lead solution architecture, governance, and project delivery efforts
• Share advanced expertise across Microsoft 365 technologies
• Create detailed and high-level solution designs for new projects and environments
• Produce comprehensive technical and operational documentation
• Serve as a technical escalation point and SME for operational teams
• Work collaboratively with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
• Support team growth via training, mentorship, and capability building

Technical Proficiencies

• Deep experience with Microsoft 365 platforms
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune
• Microsoft Teams and Teams Voice capabilities
• Exchange Online and knowledge of on-premise Exchange
• Windows Server technologies
• Device management and endpoint security solutions
• Automation and scripting tools
• Migration and collaboration utilities like ShareGate, AvePoint, and Mimecast

Experience and Skills

• Over 8 years designing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions
• Proven record managing complex project deliveries
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Identity services and modern workplace tech
• Ability to operate independently and within cross-functional teams
• Skilled in producing architectural and technical documentation
• Proficient in stakeholder engagement and client consulting
