Job description
Position Overview
The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for overseeing security operations within the property, including patrolling premises, securing rooms, assisting guests with access, and managing emergency procedures. This role supports incident investigations, safety inspections, and key control audits, while also monitoring CCTV and alarm systems to ensure property safety.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct patrolling throughout the property to secure rooms and support guest access requirements.
- Carry out emergency response drills, safety hazard inspections, investigations, and employee interviews.
- Administer monitoring of CCTV and alarm systems and manage access authorization, ensuring security protocols.
- Respond promptly to accidents, administer first aid or CPR if needed, and contact emergency medical services.
- Document incidents and maintain strict confidentiality of all reports and relevant information.
- De-escalate disturbances according to company policy, manage complaints, escort unauthorized individuals from the premises, and maintain compliance with beverage control laws.
- Assist in training, motivating, and coaching staff; act as a role model and facilitate the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, reporting accidents, uniform and appearance, and confidential information.
- Engage guests with professional communication, anticipate service needs, and maintain positive working relationships within the team.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving objects up to 50 pounds independently or heavier objects with assistance, navigating varied terrain, and maintaining endurance throughout shifts.
- Handle additional reasonable job duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent GED.
- At least two years of relevant experience in loss prevention or security roles.
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience is required.

This is a full-time, non-management position based in Dubai, UAE, located at Sheikh Zayed Road, Business Bay. The role requires on-site presence and compliance with local licensing or registration laws if applicable.
