Loss Prevention and Security Manager

Position Overview

This role involves developing and maintaining a robust safety management system aligned with local legislation, company policies, and regulations. It focuses on enforcing safety protocols in daily operations, coordinating emergency response initiatives, and ensuring ongoing safe business practices.

Core Responsibilities

• Create and update comprehensive safety management procedures reflecting legal requirements and corporate standards.
• Establish and lead emergency response teams and safety committees to handle operational incidents effectively.
• Develop and enhance loss prevention frameworks by utilizing data analytics, investigations, auditing, and managing security vendors to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct thorough investigations of abnormal events, generate detailed reports, recommend corrective actions, and verify their implementation.
• Ensure the regular upkeep of safety apparatus and surveillance technology onsite.
• Stay informed of national and state safety and loss prevention regulations and implement appropriate compliance measures.
• Maintain collaborative relations with fire and police departments, managing emergency situations efficiently.
• Evaluate operational risks, formulate effective mitigation strategies, and protect employees along with the organization's tangible and intangible assets to support sustainable growth.
• Oversee safety management for the company's own transport fleet and drivers, instituting measures to minimize transport-related accidents.
• Supervise safety during last-mile deliveries to reduce accident occurrence and merchandise losses.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Preference for veterans. Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written skills; fluency in Chinese is an advantage.
• Possess strong judgment, decisive decision-making capabilities, honesty, integrity, and high enthusiasm for the role.
• Minimum five years’ industry experience in safety management, loss prevention, risk management, inspections or allied fields, including at least three years leading teams in chain retail or e-commerce sectors.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and familiarity with local laws, regulations, and criminal law. Understand online business processes and possess skills in investigation and interviews.
• Proven capability to coordinate with government agencies for emergency management.
