Role Overview

We are inviting passionate and dependable lifeguards to join the team at Brunswick Baths, VIC. This role is ideal for individuals who prioritize water safety and enjoy engaging with people. Lifeguards will manage daily pool operations ensuring that the pool and surrounding areas remain safe and welcoming for guests. Exceptional communication and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service are vital to ensure all patrons enjoy a safe swimming experience.

Work Schedule and Environment

• Shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekends offering a good work-life balance
• Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and during our peak seasons is essential and will be acknowledged

Qualifications and Credentials

• Valid Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate strongly preferred
• Current First Aid Level 2 and CPR certification
• National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People clearance required
• Pool Operations Certificate is an advantage but not mandatory

Skills and Attributes

• Excellent verbal communication abilities
• Understanding of occupational health and safety standards in aquatic environments
• Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
