Role Overview
This full-time position for a Licensed Insurance Agent is situated in Lucknow, combining remote work with on-site duties in a hybrid setup. The agent's main responsibility is to advise individual and group clients on appropriate insurance products by explaining policy details, benefits, and terms, and assisting them in evaluating their financial protection needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting client meetings, following up on sales leads, managing policy applications, and guiding clients through onboarding.
Administrative tasks involve maintaining precise records, adhering to regulatory and organizational compliance, addressing customer inquiries and claims questions, and collaborating with branch teams to meet sales and service goals. Building long-lasting client relationships is essential, alongside promoting LIC's diverse insurance products such as life, health, and pension plans.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Strong expertise in insurance sales and thorough knowledge of insurance products and services.
- Awareness of insurance brokerage operations and compliance with industry regulations.
- Competency in finance fundamentals to help clients comprehend premiums, expected returns, and long-term financial planning.
- Excellent customer service skills including effective communication, empathy, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Holding a valid insurance license or eligibility to obtain one under relevant regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in English and local languages, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
- Comfortable using digital tools for managing leads, documentation, and virtual communication.
- Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is advantageous; educational requirement is at least a high school diploma, with preference for higher education.
