Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Liaison Officer with over six years of experience to join our team in Mumbai. This role involves managing relationships and coordination with governmental bodies such as the BMC and MHADA to facilitate approvals, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements, primarily for redevelopment and real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and maintain communication with BMC, MHADA, and other regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permissions, NOCs, and approvals.
- Oversee the entire liaison process for projects involving redevelopment and real estate.
- Manage submission of applications, actively monitor their progress, and follow-up to expedite approvals.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, legal professionals, and internal teams to coordinate project requirements.
- Address and resolve challenges related to approvals to ensure smooth progression of projects.
- Keep detailed records of all applications, approvals, and outstanding cases.
- Stay informed about current regulations and procedural updates relating to BMC, MHADA, and redevelopment activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of six years of relevant liaison experience, ideally within the real estate or construction sectors.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience working with BMC and MHADA processes.
- Prior involvement in redevelopment projects is a preferred advantage.
- Strong understanding of Mumbai's regulatory frameworks and approval processes.
- Excellent communication abilities, persistence in follow-ups, and effective management of stakeholder relationships.
- Capability to independently juggle multiple tasks and travel throughout Mumbai as necessary.
