About the Position
Become an integral part of N26's People Technology Team tasked with enhancing and managing applications related to People operations, including Workday HCM modules and recruitment tools such as Greenhouse. This role focuses on advancing processes that positively influence the entire N26 workforce by supporting, optimizing, and improving Workday and other HR-related systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of internal HR and financial information systems by managing databases, supporting networks, and overseeing software implementations, customizations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Install, configure, and update software applications to keep pace with evolving business and technology demands.
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting expertise to HR and finance personnel.
- Work closely with executive leadership and HR/finance teams to identify needs for enhancements, recommending and applying suitable solutions.
- Manage user permissions, access controls, and personalization settings to comply with internal policies and legal standards.
- Create automated functions, such as queries, filters, macros, and reports, and prepare complex data reports and summaries as requested by senior management and HR/finance staff.
- Act as the primary liaison between HR/finance departments, IT services, external vendors, and stakeholders for database projects related to HR and finance.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
- Stay informed on trends in data management, security, HR technology, and ERP applications.
- Oversee procurement of hardware and software to support high-quality, efficient organizational systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 8 years of experience with Workday.
- Minimum 8 years’ professional experience in Workday teams or financial/people departments with strong process and data management knowledge.
- Proficient in Workday system administration, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Workday’s people and finance modules.
- Hands-on experience with Workday integrations and Workday Studio.
- Skilled in process design and enhancement.
- Strong background in data management, administration, and system setup.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira tool usage.
- Knowledge of operational best practices and technology solutions to ensure compliance.
