Overview
We invite an experienced Registered Architect to join a dedicated team in Perth, Western Australia, in the role of Lead Project Architect. This position offers the chance to influence the design and execution of major public sector infrastructure projects that impact communities statewide. Key Responsibilities
- Steer architectural design and oversee delivery for a variety of capital works projects.
- Coordinate and manage teams of external consultants, architects, and multidisciplinary design professionals.
- Offer expert guidance on planning, sustainable design practices, and building compliance.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into feasible project solutions.
- Review and approve design documents, specifications, and construction submissions to ensure quality and compliance.
- Participate in strategic planning relating to the ongoing development of public infrastructure assets.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Current registration as an Architect in Australia.
- Proven substantial experience in leading architectural projects end-to-end, from initial concept to final delivery.
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement and managing relationships effectively.
- Experience commanding consultant teams and managing multidisciplinary collaborations with clear communication of technical requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience within the public sector project environment is highly advantageous.
