We are seeking a competent Laser Machine Operator to join our production team at our Dwarka facility in Delhi.
Job Overview
The role involves operating CO2 laser machines to engrave and cut multiple materials such as wood, MDF, acrylic, glass, and metal, translating digital designs into quality physical products with precision and speed.
Primary Duties
- Setting up, calibrating, and running CO2 laser equipment including brands like xTool, Sculpfun, and Atomstack for daily manufacturing tasks.
- Handling and preparing materials by sanding wood and applying masking tape on acrylic sheets to prevent scorch marks during processing.
- Importing and prepping design files using software such as RDWorks, CorelDRAW, or LightBurn to ensure accurate engraving and cutting.
- Examining end products to verify engraving depth, clarity, and edge neatness.
- Conducting routine maintenance including cleaning lenses and mirrors and resolving minor mechanical problems.
- Coordinating production timelines to meet scheduled deliveries for online orders.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of practical experience with CO2 or Fiber laser machinery.
- Technical expertise in adjusting speed and power settings to prevent material damage and achieve desired engraving effects on wood, MDF, acrylic, glass, and metal.
- Familiarity with marking sprays and special attachments when working with glass and metal surfaces.
- Proficiency in design and laser software tools such as CorelDRAW and preferably AutoCAD.
- Educational background of at least 12th standard pass or ITI certification in a related technical domain.
Employment Terms
- Monthly remuneration ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 dependent on relevant experience and performance in skills assessment.
- Full-time position with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, located in Dwarka Sector 17, Delhi, requiring on-site presence.
- The role reports directly to the Sales/Production Manager, ensuring efficient production flow and quality assurance.
