Land Surveyor

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join H P Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore. This role requires coordination with various teams including Structural, Architectural, MEP, and sub-contractors to perform setting out and surveying tasks essential for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with Structural, Architectural, MEP teams and subcontractors to execute necessary setting out activities.
• Verify all measurements from project drawings against the Building Information Modelling (BIM) model to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with Registered Surveyors during the preparation of pre-computation plan drawings, setting out, and as-built surveys required for Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP).
• Receive and acknowledge control points from Registered Surveyors, ensuring they are adequately protected on site.
• Conduct periodic surveys of Primary and Secondary Control Points to maintain accurate reference data.
• Perform topographical surveys as directed by supervisors.
• Report verticality, soffit levels, and slab level monitoring results to engineers for further action.
• Maintain calibration of all surveying instruments—including total stations and levels—according to specifications and intervals.
• Ensure all surveying equipment meets precision standards to deliver accurate results.
• Manage surveying duties across multiple projects simultaneously as required.
• Execute differential and trigonometrical levelling when necessary.
• Establish Secondary Control Points to support construction layout.
• Provide grid and reference lines for each floor promptly, typically by the day after slab concrete casting.
• Carry out setting out for a wide range of construction elements such as temporary sheet piling, Earth Retention and Stabilization Systems (ERSS), various piling types, pile-caps, retaining walls, tower crane foundations, buildings, boundaries, infrastructures, landscaping, hardscaping, drainage, and special structures.
• Ensure that all setting out tasks comply with required surveying tolerances.

Candidate Requirements

• A degree in surveying, engineering, or an equivalent qualification is preferred. Candidates holding a diploma with relevant work experience will also be considered.
• Strong familiarity with surveying technologies and the use of various surveying equipment.
• Thorough understanding of construction surveying accuracy standards and tolerance levels.
• Proven experience and a successful track record in land surveying.
• An independent, detail-oriented, diligent, and highly motivated professional with excellent teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and solid knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
