About the Role

Adobe invites candidates to join their Employee Experience team in Munich as a Labor Relations Consultant. This role is pivotal in fostering productive labor relations by collaborating intimately with the German Works Council. The position requires expertise in labor relations, stakeholder management, and relationship building across organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a collaborative partnership with the German Works Council.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all consultations and dealings with the Works Council.
  • Lead and organize information sharing and consultation procedures, including preparation of materials, facilitating meetings, managing communication flows, and coordinating expert audits when necessary.
  • Oversee committees related to the Works Council and manage budget and administrative tasks.
  • Negotiate agreements and initiatives with the Works Council aligned with strategic goals and employee interests.
  • Collect feedback from employee reps and Works Council members, communicating key insights to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvements and standardize approaches for social dialogue and employee involvement.
  • Advise leadership and Employee Experience teams on Works Council matters specific to Germany.
  • Collaborate with other Labor Relations Consultants across EMEA on consistent labor relations practices.
  • Support workforce changes such as hiring, restructuring, and implement updated policies and employee programs.
  • Work alongside Employment Legal, Employee Relations, and Centers of Excellence on related issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of German labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Substantial experience working with German Works Councils and employee representatives.
  • A collaborative approach oriented towards effective relationship-building.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to align stakeholders toward shared goals.
  • Comfort navigating a matrixed, diverse, and dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including active listening and facilitation skills.
  • Fluency in German and English; other languages are advantageous.
