Key Holder

Job Overview

The Key Holder serves as a limited Manager on Duty responsible for the store's physical security under the guidance of the management team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive profitability and enhance customer service by leading the designated category team and ensuring store operations comply with company policies and standards.
• Function as a limited Manager on Duty alongside the management team.
• Secure the assigned store premises as a key-holding member of management.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Maintain merchandising standards, cleanliness, and operational efficiency within the category.
• Train and develop associates in the category and encourage cross-training for skill enhancement.
• Communicate effectively with all store associates through daily briefings and weekly or monthly meetings.
• Handle bank deposits and obtain change orders as required.
• Collect café grocery supplies such as milk and baked goods when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as directed.

Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Capability to use hands and arms repetitively for keyboard and phone operation.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items up to 50 pounds.
• Effective communication through speech, sight, and sound, possibly with assistive devices.
• Mobility to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, or crouch as required by daily tasks.
