We are seeking a certified Joiner to join our team, offering a company vehicle and steady work within your local community. Primary Duties

  • Perform joinery installations and repairs in residential properties
  • Complete tasks such as installing doors, kitchens, flooring, and internal fixtures
  • Follow given specifications, reports, and quality standards
  • Ensure protection of customers’ homes and possessions during work
  • Coordinate with supervisors, schedulers, and other team members to meet deadlines
  • Document work activities accurately
  • Assist apprentices and help improve team performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Typical Workday

  • Adhere to a planned schedule for repairs and maintenance activities
  • Travel between job sites using the company van
  • Work independently or alongside other tradespeople
  • Interact professionally with customers inside their homes
  • Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality and compliance standards

Work Environment

  • Service occupied homes
  • Work in vacant (void) properties
  • Operate within a variety of domestic properties in the local area
  • Engage sensitively with vulnerable customers

Mandatory Criteria

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Joinery
  • Experience working as a joiner, preferably in social housing or domestic property settings
  • Possess a full UK driving license
  • Residency within the specified local area covered by this role

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience across multiple trades
  • Competency or willingness to learn digital platforms

Hiring Process
