Job Overview

Join our team to help create the clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere Farm Boy customers and staff expect. Aligning with our customer-first values and attention to detail, you will support store operations by maintaining shared areas and contributing to a positive shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous and engaging service that aligns with Farm Boy's fresh shopping experience standards.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers in line with company service protocols.
• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to keep work and storage areas orderly and safe.
• Maintain upkeep of shared spaces such as break rooms, washrooms, and locker rooms.
• Support inventory tracking and supply purchasing as requested.
• Adhere strictly to corporate policies focused on health & safety, food safety, and equipment handling.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures, assisting team members when needed.
• Periodically handle additional tasks supporting overall store functionality.

Candidate Qualifications

• Sincere enthusiasm for providing engaging and excellent customer service.
• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience in a food retail setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, with pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• A team-player attitude with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment involving extended standing, heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, use of protective gear, and exposure to noise and dust; ability to work in cooler conditions.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent English required; French skills are beneficial.
