Janitor

About the Role

We are looking for dependable and hardworking Janitors to join our client's team. The selected candidates will ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic atmosphere across all areas of the facilities, contributing to a professional environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect offices, restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and shared spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shine different types of floors.
• Empty waste and recycling bins, disposing of trash appropriately.
• Restock cleaning materials, paper goods, and restroom supplies.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, furniture, and fixtures as needed.
• Promptly report any maintenance problems, damages, or safety concerns.
• Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are well-maintained and stored correctly.
• Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with special cleaning assignments and other tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cleaning agents, equipment, and safe handling protocols.
• Capability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
• Good organizational skills and effective time management.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and repeat such activities throughout the shift.
