Job Summary
The Item Grouping Steward is tasked with the development, upkeep, and uniform standardization of product category groupings on the B&H website. Reporting to the Item Grouping Manager, this role demands deep product expertise and a solid understanding of customer preferences across multiple product segments to enhance user navigation and ease of purchase.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and establish new product groupings in line with established stylistic and strategic standards.
- Collaborate with the Item Grouping Manager to identify and document unique customer scenarios.
- Review and refine existing product categories to ensure clarity and uniformity.
Additional Duties
- Perform other assignments as directed by the Item Grouping Manager.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of website navigation architecture and search functionalities.
- In-depth knowledge of B&H’s product range and category structures.
- Insight into the needs of target customers and behavior patterns in online shopping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred Experience and Education
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in selling or using professional or consumer technology products or electronics.
