Compensation

This position includes a fixed monthly salary of AED 2,000 as part of a rewarding career path.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of IT support functions with a disciplined, focused approach ensuring high-quality results.
  • Provide superior technical support to staff and guests, addressing hardware, software, and networking issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, minimizing operational downtime.
  • Set up and configure computer systems, printers, and IT equipment to ensure excellent user experience.
  • Respond efficiently to support queries, documenting problems and solutions with professionalism.
  • Monitor and maintain wired and wireless networks, ensuring robust security and high performance.
  • Implement and audit network security measures to protect data integrity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, routers, switches, and other network hardware optimizing network efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve connectivity and performance issues.
  • Promote and enforce stringent IT security policies to guard against unauthorized access and malware.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware/software inventories, licenses, and warranties.
  • Follow established SOPs, safety policies, and service standards with professionalism and care.
  • Work collaboratively within the team fostering continuous improvement and confidential handling of sensitive information.

Eligibility and Additional Information

  • Experience: Minimum of 1.5 to 2 years in a hospitality IT environment.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field is beneficial.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer systems, networking, hardware, and software with proficiency in troubleshooting.
  • Hotel Systems: Familiarity with hospitality-specific systems like Opera and Simphony is advantageous.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • Personal Attributes: Proactive attitude, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and a proactive ‘can-do’ spirit.
