About the Role
The University of Auckland, a leading institution with over 47,000 students and 6,000 staff, is enhancing its internal communications division to foster connection and engagement among its diverse workforce. We are looking for a dedicated Internal Communications Coordinator to join our Communications team and play a pivotal role in delivering efficient, precise internal communications that link thousands of staff across the university.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate requests, workflows, and schedules for internal communications.
- Develop, edit, and help produce internal newsletters, emails, intranet content, and communication campaigns.
- Maintain content calendars to ensure continuous storytelling aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate extensively with university stakeholders to facilitate effective communication delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in supporting internal communications, content publishing, social media, or comparable activities in a large organization.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities capable of handling multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality and accuracy.
- Familiarity and confidence with digital tools including Microsoft 365, content management systems, intranet platforms, and email communication tools, along with eagerness to acquire new skillsets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with varied stakeholders.
- Curious, proactive, and adaptable mindset.
