Internal Auditor – QHSE

Role Overview

Ali & Sons Holding LLC seeks a seasoned Internal Auditor specializing in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) to lead and execute a comprehensive auditing program across the Group's diverse business units. This role demands a proactive auditor who not only identifies audit findings but also understands risks, questions existing controls, spots improvement chances, and translates audit results into actionable measures that enhance compliance, efficiency, and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and conduct scheduled QHSE and risk-focused operational audits within Group entities.
• Define audit scopes by pinpointing key internal controls, processes, and risk areas.
• Evaluate the adequacy and performance of internal controls against relevant industry standards, legal regulations, and best practices.
• Accurately document audit discoveries, observations, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Engage with management to follow up on corrective actions ensuring prompt resolution.
• Craft detailed Audit Reports along with Executive Summaries targeted at management.
• Identify and propose measures to boost audit efficiency, effectiveness, and realize cost reductions.
• Assist in the development and refinement of audit tools and methodologies for improved effectiveness.
• Maintain and update Internal Audit policies, procedures, and strategic plans.
• Lead special audits, investigations, and unplanned requests with minimal oversight.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated minimum of five years in auditing roles.
• Essential Certified Internal Auditor credentials for standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and ISO 27001.
• Preferably hold Certified Internal Auditor certification for API Spec Q1 & Q2.
• Deep familiarity with QHSE standards, specifications, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience executing risk-based operational audits, evaluating internal controls and verifying compliance.
• Excellent analytical capabilities, problem-solving aptitude with strong attention to detail.
• Capable of identifying risks, assessing control measures, and formulating actionable mitigation strategies.
• Valid UAE Driver’s License.
