Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for an Insurance Manager to lead our sales team in Kolkata, focusing on Health and Life insurance products. This position involves team management, customer handling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and inspire insurance advisors and agents to meet performance goals.
- Consistently meet monthly branch premium targets in Health & Life insurance sales.
- Manage interactions with high-value clients, providing detailed explanations of insurance policies and successfully closing sales.
- Organize daily team meetings, product training sessions, and joint field visits with advisors.
- Ensure all policy sales strictly adhere to IRDAI regulations.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the Regional Manager.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong communication skills in Bengali, Hindi, and English.
- Proven leadership capability and experience in field sales.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and relevant applications.
- Preferred 1 to 3 years of experience in insurance, banking, or sales; however, freshers with good networking skills are also welcome.
Qualifications
Minimum high school pass; graduates are also eligible.
