Role Overview

As an Installer at JD Logistics, you will be responsible for the secure and effective installation of various products such as home appliances, furniture, and complex electronics at client locations. This position is critical to enhancing customer satisfaction by delivering professional setup services and ensuring proper product functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and transport products to customers’ homes or businesses.
• Disassemble packaging, assemble items, and install a wide variety of products following manufacturer instructions and company guidelines.
• Perform thorough pre-installation inspections and post-installation tests to verify product operation.
• Guide customers on how to use, maintain, and troubleshoot their products.
• Provide courteous and knowledgeable customer support addressing questions and concerns.
• Complete all required paperwork including installation logs, delivery confirmations, and customer feedback documentation.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in excellent condition.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with company policies at all times.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customer service teams to guarantee timely and effective installations.
• Identify and report any product faults or damages observed during installation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in fields like appliance repair or electronics installation is advantageous.
• Prior experience in product installation, assembly, or related technical work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude combined with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Capability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks repeatedly.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with using basic hand and power tools.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills to work independently.
• Willingness and flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings as necessary.
