Job Overview

The role of Installer at JD.com involves the safe and effective delivery, assembly, and installation of a broad range of products such as home appliances, furniture, and electronic devices at customer locations. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction through expert installation services and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and transport products securely to customers' homes or business sites.
• Unpack, assemble, and carry out installations according to company guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Perform pre-installation inspections and conduct post-installation tests to verify operational quality.
• Instruct customers on product functionalities, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting steps.
• Offer professional and courteous customer service, handling queries and concerns effectively.
• Prepare and complete all required documentation including installation reports, delivery confirmations, and customer feedback.
• Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles maintained and in optimal condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies consistently.
• Liaise with dispatch and customer support teams to ensure prompt and efficient installation scheduling.
• Report any detected product flaws or damage identified during installation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational or technical training in appliance repair or electronics installation is advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience in product setup, assembly, or related technical roles.
• Strong mechanical skills coupled with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Competent in interpreting technical instructions, manuals, and schematics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction.
• Physical capability to handle heavy lifting and repetitive physical activity.
• Possession of a valid driving license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with the use of manual and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings as needed.
