Job description
Position Overview
The Income Auditor will be responsible for verifying financial data, postings, and documentation for accuracy, managing computerized financial information, and securing cash and cash equivalents in line with established cash handling policies. This role demands meticulous organization and security of files and records, adhering strictly to document retention and confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of figures, postings, and documents.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information effectively.
- Manage and safeguard cash and cash equivalents per cash handling protocols.
- Organize and maintain all files and records in compliance with confidentiality and document retention policies.
- Prepare, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, payroll reports, and statistical data.
- Reconcile all revenue postings to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to company safety and security policies, reporting any unsafe conditions and suspicious persons promptly.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance and confidentiality of proprietary data.
- Uphold the privacy and security of guests and coworkers at all times.
- Extend courteous greetings to guests, anticipate their service needs, assist those with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in spoken and written form; answer telephones with proper etiquette.
- Foster positive workplace relationships, support team objectives, and respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns.
- Comply with quality assurance standards consistently.
- Physically handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds as needed.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Educational background: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience necessary.
- No license or certification required.
Additional Information
This position is full-time and based in Kampala, Uganda, specifically at Ggaba Road, P.O. Box 190771. Remote work is not an option as the role requires onsite presence.
