Income Auditor

Position Overview

The Income Auditor role involves verifying accuracy of financial figures, postings, and related documents, as well as securely organizing and maintaining files, records, and cash assets according to established policies. This role includes recording and analyzing computerized financial information, classifying and summarizing numerical data for maintaining financial records via journals, ledgers, or computerized systems.

Key Duties

• Prepare and distribute various financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll-related reports and tables.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reporting as required.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements in line with company policies.
• Manage follow-ups on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until fully resolved.
• Coordinate tasks across departments and act as a role model or mentor within the team, ensuring timely and quality completion of assigned work.
• Promptly report work-related accidents or injuries to supervisors.
• Comply with company policies, maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in verbal and written interactions, including telephone etiquette.
• Build and sustain positive teamwork and respond constructively to colleagues' concerns.
• Handle physical tasks such as moving or lifting objects not exceeding 10 pounds safely.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• No prior supervisory experience necessary.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
