Job description
Role Overview
This position involves working as a Hygiene Operative within a food manufacturing setting, requiring night shifts based on a 5-in-7 schedule from 22:00 to 06:00. The primary objective is to achieve exemplary cleanliness adhering to strict food industry hygiene standards, supporting a safe and sanitary environment for operational success.
Key Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning duties within a food production facility, maintaining exceptional hygiene levels according to regulatory standards.
- Consistently uphold and promote high cleanliness and hygiene benchmarks relevant to the food sector.
- Follow safety procedures and comply with all health and safety regulations to maintain a protected workplace.
- Handle industrial-grade cleaning apparatus, specialized cleaning chemicals, and work at elevated heights as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Right to work legally in the United Kingdom is mandatory.
- Previous experience in cleaning roles or within a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Preparedness to perform tasks that involve working at heights.
- Training or certification in COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) is advantageous.
