Hygiene Operative

About the Role

Join GXO Logistics as a Hygiene Operative at the Ikea Dartford facility, working stable and permanent full-time hours. This position requires working 40 hours per week across five days in a seven-day shift rotation, with available shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a team to uphold hygiene standards throughout the site
• Maintain cleanliness and a safe environment with meticulous attention to detail
• Handle site waste management, including collection and disposal of general waste
• Complete daily cleaning rotas and accurately fill out associated paperwork
• Operate equipment such as baling machinery, pump trucks, and large load order pickers (LLOP) following training
• Adhere strictly to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Candidate Requirements

• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Self-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Experience with various cleaning chemicals and products
