About the Role
Stantec’s expanding water and environment team seeks a knowledgeable Hydrologist to contribute significantly to hydrological assessments and technical insights on a variety of infrastructure, water, and development projects. Required Expertise
Ideal candidates will have experience performing surface water assessments, data analysis, and environmental reporting within Ireland’s regulatory environment. Knowledge of flood risk management, drainage system design basics, and relevant legislation is essential. Communication and reporting skills are critical, as is the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Key Technical Capabilities
- Conducting hydrological assessments including flood risk and drainage impact analyses.
- Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting hydrological and meteorological data.
- Preparing technical documentation and environmental regulatory submissions such as EIAR inputs.
- Supporting project planning, scoping, and scheduling tasks.
