HSE Auditor

Role Overview

The HSE Auditor is responsible for executing regular audits and inspections across various operational sites to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, including OSHA regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled HSE audits and site inspections to verify adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify hazards, unsafe behaviors, and deviations, meticulously documenting all findings in detailed audit reports.
• Compile comprehensive audit reports featuring observations, suggestions, and necessary corrective measures.
• Monitor the implementation and timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) related to audit findings.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to check the effectiveness of risk controls and promote safe working practices.
• Review critical HSE documentation such as Risk Assessments, JSA/JHA, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems for compliance and functionality.
• Audit both employees and contractors to ensure full compliance with established HSE and site safety procedures.
• Examine incident, injury, and near-miss reports to confirm corrective actions have been applied properly.
• Track and analyze HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for ongoing improvement.
• Assess the availability and readiness of emergency response plans, firefighting tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Devise and maintain annual and periodic audit plans that align with project schedules and company goals.
• Offer management actionable recommendations aimed at enhancing HSE performance and mitigating workplace risks.
• Keep up-to-date and accurate audit records, including all corrective action documentation and follow-up tracking.
