Job description
Role Overview
Managing payroll numbers and focusing on people, you will be the key person ensuring hundreds of colleagues receive accurate and timely pay statements every month, while operations run smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, execute, and follow up on monthly payroll processing.
- Handle certification and reporting duties including communication with health insurers, social security agencies, and authorities.
- Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries.
- Carefully prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Independently create reports and organize payroll data effectively.
- Maintain and update personnel master data.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Completed commercial vocational training, preferably with specialized education in payroll accounting.
- Several years of practical experience in payroll processing, ideally within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction payroll components, extras, and collective agreements.
- Confident and structured use of payroll software systems.
- Methodical, precise, and confidential work approach combined with strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
