Housekeeper

Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to uphold cleanliness and safety standards within a long-term care facility located in Grafton, WV. This role provides an opportunity to impact the community positively by ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning duties including resident rooms, restrooms, communal areas, and offices.
• Adhere to established cleaning protocols and safety standards to maintain sanitation.
• Document cleaning activities and promptly report any safety or maintenance concerns to supervisors.
• Follow infection control measures and universal precautions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Provide courteous and positive interactions with residents, team members, and visitors.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Housekeeping experience is advantageous but not compulsory.
• Maintain a positive demeanor and communicate effectively with residents, administration, and HCSG management.
• Adherence to COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended durations.
• Capacity to perform repetitive and routine tasks consistently.
• Ability to work safely around cleaning chemicals and follow both oral and written instructions.
• Residence within the local service area is mandatory.
