Housekeeper

Job Overview

The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the staff living quarters and common areas at the facility in Zambia. This role includes performing daily cleaning tasks, sanitizing shared spaces, and maintaining organization within the dormitories to provide a safe and comfortable environment for employees.

Primary Duties

• Conduct daily cleaning and thorough disinfection of staff dormitory rooms, kitchens, and other communal locations to uphold a clean and sanitary atmosphere.
• Support employees by assisting with bed preparation and clothing arrangement; keep tableware and kitchen utensils in common areas clean and orderly to maintain dormitory neatness.
• Oversee management of shared dormitory supplies, routinely check utilities such as water and electricity, and inspect household appliances, reporting any faults immediately to facilitate timely repairs and ensure safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Applicants should be under 40 years of age, in good physical health, and must possess a valid health certificate.
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable, with a sound understanding of routine cleaning and sanitization procedures.
• Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, a cooperative attitude, heightened awareness of service quality and safety, and strict compliance with company dormitory policies.
