Housekeeper (Hotel Setting)

Job Overview

This position is for a Housekeeper working within a hotel, motel, or resort environment. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility by performing a variety of housekeeping duties. No formal education or prior experience is required as training will be provided.

Work Location and Environment

The work must be carried out on site at the physical location with no option for remote engagement. The environment is fast-paced and physically challenging.

Primary Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors
• Dusting furniture
• Vacuuming carpets, area rugs, drapes, and upholstered furniture
• Making beds and changing sheets
• Distributing clean towels and toiletries
• Stocking the linen closet
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Handling and reporting lost and found items
• Responding to guests' requests for additional supplies or items
• Providing basic facility information to guests
• Picking up debris and emptying trash containers
• Washing windows, walls, and ceilings
• Cleaning changing rooms and showers
• Addressing customer complaints or concerns
