About the Role

As a Home Delivery Driver, you'll play a vital role in bringing our customers' online grocery orders right to their doorsteps.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 3.5-tonne van to deliver groceries accurately and punctually while ensuring items arrive in excellent condition.
• Carry out routine inspections to confirm the van is clean, organized, roadworthy, and that delivery containers are secured before starting your route.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, managing substitutions, and keeping customers informed of any delivery delays.
• Develop solid knowledge about our products, services, and promotions to offer helpful recommendations.
• Assist in various in-store duties when not out on deliveries.

Candidate Eligibility

• Must be aged 18 or older and hold a full UK or EU driving licence for over 12 months with fewer than 7 penalty points.
• Successful completion of an online driving risk assessment during the interview and a driving assessment upon joining.
• Right to work in the UK is mandatory.

• Flexibility to contribute productively across store operations when required, supported by comprehensive training to develop new skills and responsibilities.
• Comfort with using modern digital tools and technologies to perform role duties efficiently and capability to handle shopping containers weighing up to 15 kilograms.
• Operate safely under a driving monitoring system featuring in-cab AI cameras to promote compliance with road safety and defensive driving standards.
