Job Overview

We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver based in Bangor, Wales, to join a reputable grocery company known for valuing its employees and customers. This role offers an hourly wage of £13.71 and involves delivering shopping orders while maintaining excellent customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van safely, including performing heavy lifting and following manual handling guidelines.
• Drive responsibly by adhering strictly to road safety and company driving protocols.
• Conduct vehicle checks before starting deliveries to ensure safety and reliability.
• Ensure food products arrive at customers in optimal condition.
• Provide outstanding service directly to customers during deliveries.
• Assist with in-store tasks as needed.
• Operate independently, managing time efficiently to complete delivery schedules.
• Be flexible with working shifts that may start as early as 6am and extend up to 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of three years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly demeanor and a strong dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrate a good understanding and awareness of road safety principles.
