Job Overview

We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our team in Ashington, UK. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, value independence, and engaging with customers directly. The position involves delivering shopping to customers, ensuring excellent customer service while representing our brand as a trusted face.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow proper safe van loading procedures, handling heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving practices at all times on the road.
• Conduct regular van checks to ensure vehicle readiness.
• Deliver food orders in optimal condition to customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries.
• Support in-store activities as needed.
• Work independently, managing your time efficiently across varying shifts.
• Be flexible to work shifts that may range between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a full driving license for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Demonstrate a positive, friendly attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Show a strong awareness of road safety principles.
